Chery Announces European CV Focused 'DELIVAN' Brand
Fledgling Chinese marque Chery has confirmed its plans to enter the European commercial vehicle market with an all-new brand it reveals with be called ‘DELIVAN’.
DELIVAN will make its formal public debut at the upcoming Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show) being held in Birmingham on 21-23 April 2026.
The launch of Chery’s new commercial vehicle arm has been anticipated for some months after it was revealed the company – one of the largest automotive manufacturers in China – was setting up a base in the UK with a view to expanding into the European CV space.
DELIVAN marks the latest step in Chery’s rapid plans for expansion having enjoyed significant success since entering the UK passenger car market under its own name, alongside sub-brands Omoda and Jaecoo [see below].
As well as setting the scene to globally launch DELIVAN as a brand, the CV Show will also see the marque bring ‘a series of DELIVAN concept vehicles’ that it says will ‘offer an early preview of the company’s product, technology and design direction ahead of a planned European product launch in 2027’.
Jolly Yang – VP of Chery Commercial Vehicle and CEO of DELIVAN said: “This is a defining moment for Chery Commercial Vehicle as we take our first step into the European market at the Commercial Vehicle Show.
“Europe represents one of the most advanced and demanding commercial vehicle environments in the world, and it is exactly where we want to demonstrate the strength of our vision, our technology and our long-term commitment.
“The launch of DELIVAN signals the beginning of a new chapter for our business – one that is focused on delivering intelligent, efficient and future-ready mobility solutions tailored to the evolving needs of operators.
“As the urgency to address climate change grows, reinforcing the shift towards electrification and smarter logistics and driving demand for more efficient, connected commercial vehicles, we see an opportunity to define a new model for intelligent commercial mobility, built on advanced technology.
“Our presence in Birmingham is not just about showcasing concepts, but about starting meaningful conversations with partners, customers and media as we build towards our European introduction in 2026 and beyond.”
While DELIVAN is keeping its concept models under wraps, a teaser image suggests it will be showing two panel vans, plus a chassis cab/tipper at the CV Show.
Vansdirect will be on the ground at the NEC from 21 April 2026 to bring you the latest information, images and details.
Can DELIVAN Sprinkle Some Jaecoo Magic to Conquer CV Market?
The rapid success of Chery and its assorted brands since entering the UK passenger car market has caught many in the industry by surprise.
Indeed, the company only arrived on UK shores in August 2024, first with its Omoda brand, before adding to that with Jaecoo in January 2025. Parent company Chery then followed suit in August 2025, while premium spin-off brand Lepas will also arrive in the next few months.
Despite the lack of brand awareness, the combination of Omoda, Jaecoo and Chery have taken the UK car market by storm, so much so that the Jaecoo 7 was the best-selling model outright in March 2026, while Chery (including Omoda and Jaecoo) was the second best-selling brand overall, behind only Volkswagen.
It is hoped now that Chery will enjoy similar success in the commercial vehicle market as DELIVAN joins Maxus and Farizon in bolstering the number of Chinese offerings in the sector.
