2026 Citroen e-C3 Van: Everything You Need To Know
The Citroen Berlingo might have ended 2025 as the UK’s most popular small van, but the French manufacturer isn’t resting on its laurels judging by its decision to launch an even smaller light commercial vehicle, the Citroen e-C3 Van.
Based on the passenger-carrying version of the Citroen e-C3, a car that counts the likes of the Volkswagen Polo and Vauxhall Corsa as rivals, the van version makes good on the donor model’s surprising practicality within such small dimensions, while it also handily powered by electric.
Interestingly, this isn’t even Citroen’s smallest van. For that you need to look at the entertainingly tiny Citroen Ami Van, but if you need a frugal urban-based commercial vehicle and a Citroen Berlingo is more than what you need, then the e-C3 Van makes a compelling alternative.

Are Car-Derived Vans Making a Comeback?
Apparently so. Indeed, the last twelve months have seen a slew of cars lob out their rear seats, darken windows and add a bulkhead in the name of being converted to a van.
This includes the Dacia Spring, the Dacia Duster, the Skoda Enyaq, the BYD Atto 3 and the Volvo EX30, all of which offer the grandeur and sophistication of a car, just with two seats and extra load carrying capabilities.
The aforementioned models strike for various points in the market based on their size, but each is designed to provide more practical convenience for businesses that may not have a need for a full-fat van.
The Citroen e-C3 Van's appeal rests in its city-going positioning, which is ideal for nipping across town for urban operators without emitting any CO2, while its size makes it easy to drive and park too.

2026 Citroen e-C3 Van: Dimensions, Loads & Weights
Naturally, the Citroen e-C3 Van is not aimed at businesses who need a commercial vehicle to complete heavy duty tasks – if they did, then the Berlingo or Dispatch can cater to those needs with either diesel or electric power.
Instead, the e-C3 Van has urban operators firmly in its sights and while you might ponder the logic of turning a supermini-sized car into a commercial vehicle, the base model is at least a good start.
At just over four-metres in length externally, the e-C3 is no longer than your average Corsa or Polo. However, its upright, boxy dimensions not only give the e-C3 a trendy SUV-themed look, it also allows for a spacious interior.
As such, this translates to a useful 1,220-litres of cargo space and a 1.2-metre load length, which is enough for a few stacked boxes. Payload is 302kg.
Inside, the e-C3 gets a robust meshed metal bulkhead separating the cargo bay from the frontal passenger area, while there is also a handy extended parcel shelf that can provide privacy cover for loads on the cargo floor and ensure there is still visibility out of the rear window.

2026 Citroen e-C3 Van: Engine, Performance & Powertrains
Unsurprisingly, the Citroen e-C3 Van is available exclusively as an electric model, even though the passenger-carrying C3 is also offered as a mild-hybrid or full-hybrid too.
While the e-C3 supermini is pitched at the cheaper end of the market as a value-added alternative to the smaller Dacia Spring, it gets a decent size 44kWh battery that is good for just over 200-miles of range.
Within the confines of a city, this is more than adequate and allows the e-C3 to go further than a fair few conventional small vans, such as the Renault Kangoo E-Tech.
With 113bhp, it’s also almost as nippy as the e-Berlingo, while its lighter weight ensures it has some sprint off the line. Moreover, its handling is surefooted and it’s an absolute doddle to park.
Using a fast charger means a 20-80% replenishment in just 26-minutes.
