KGM Musso EV Offers a Greener Electric Pick-Up Solution
The all-new KGM Musso EV has officially landed at Vansdirect, providing a greener, better value pick-up truck option that emits zero emissions and delivers up to 240-miles of range.
Going on sale alongside the existing diesel-powered KGM Musso pick-up truck, the EV nonetheless debuts a new, more aggressive family look, as well as a stylish, contemporary looking interior.
The Musso EV boasts an 80.6kWh battery sourced from BYD, which also includes V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality that complements the model’s qualities as a versatile and practical lifestyle-oriented model by being able to power equipment and charge tools on-the-go.
A sizeable battery means the Musso EV offers impressive range of up to 240-miles on a combined cycle (WLTP), while charging 20-80% on a fast charger will take approximately 30-minutes.
Performance arrives from front and rear-axle mounted motors generating a 205bhp total power output, which in turn allows for all-wheel drive versatility.
The KGM Musso EV offers 690kg of payload capacity and up to 2300kg of towing capability, while the reinforced tailgate supports up to 150kg, thus making it an ideal perch for two adults when out and about.
The Musso EV is the first pick-up truck from KGM to get the Korean firm’s latest family look, which includes a striking black grille that incorporates elements of the front-end LED lighting, assertive body-cladding and wheelarches, plus diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Six colours – Grand White, Amazon Green, Space Black, Ultra Marin, Marble Grey and Blazing Gold – are available.
Inside, the Musso EV features a 12.3-inch digital cluster alongside another 12.3-inch infotainment screen, while kit includes powered and heated/ventilated front seats, while the second row of passengers will also get heated seats.
