New Vauxhall Vivaro - everything you need to know
Vauxhall vans have announced the specifications of the new Vauxhall Vivaro van which is on its way to the UK new van market, Vansdirect reveals all!
New Vauxhall Vivaro specifications
Earlier this year we brought you the reveal of the all-new Vauxhall Vivaro van, now the specifications for the brand new medium van have been revealed. Based on the same platform as the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Toyota Proace medium vans, the new Vivaro will be available in two van lengths: 4.95-metres and 5.30-metres and three body styles: panel van, double cab and platform chassis.
Trim levels
The new Vauxhall van will come in three trim levels, starting at edition moving up to Sportive and top spec Elite models, with payloads up to 1,400kg, up to 6.6 cubic metres of load volume and towing capacity up to 2,500kg.
Engine options
All engine options on the new Vauxhall van are approved to Euro 6.2 emissions standards, there's two 1.5-litre diesel engine options with 100ps or 120ps outputs and three 2.0-litre diesel engines with outputs of 120ps, 150ps or 180ps. All models come with a six-speed manual transmission apart from the 180ps engine which gets an eight-speed automatic transmission, from 2020 the automatic option will also be made available with the 2.0-litre 120ps engine.
New Vauxhall Vivaro Edition
At entry level in the all-new Vivaro range are Edition trim models, which are equipped with standard features including: Hill start assist, electrically operated and heated door mirrors, digital radio with bluetooth and cruise control.
New Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive
The model which currently tops the Vivaro range, Sportive is now the second of three trims available on the all-new model. As before, new Sportive models boast an impressive level of standard equipment including: 7-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, air conditioning, rear parking sensors, load-through bulkhead, six-way driver's seat adjustment, LED daytime running lights, driver drowsiness alert, automatic headlights and automatic windscreen wipers.
New Vauxhall Vivaro Elite
The new range topping Elite trim level adds even further features, which include: Satellite navigation, front parking sensors, lane departure warning, speed limit recognition, intelligent speed adaption, high beam assist and blind spot alert.
