New Trafic Sport added to Renault family
Welcoming the Renault Trafic Sport to the fold
With the Renault Trafic recently named as Medium Van of the Year during the recent WhatVan? awards alongside the Vauxhall Vivaro, it's no surprise that Renault have now decided to add the Sport version into the Trafic family.
The Renault Trafic sport is now available with a Sport+ body kit package giving the already popular van a more distinctive look. The first question everyone will be asking is, how much for the pack? Well the costing is £995 plus VAT and is available to order on all versions of the Renault Trafic. This gives the owner the full range of choice regarding engines and sizes, with the sports body kit then being added on once they have picked their model.
Renault said that the new look sports body kit is inspired by the brand's Renaultsport performance car range. So another question, what's included for your money? Well, you get front and rear spoilers, front fog-light surrounds, side running boards and striped decals designed to fit the contours on the Trafic's side panels. LED daytime running lights are also included in the package, which are positioned in the lower front grille.
The Trafic Sport+ body kit package is available in any of the ten current Trafic colours. However, another good little feature is that the side decals can be chosen by the customer at the point of build, plus they come in a range of colours including black, red or white. So Renault are looking to cater for all tastes. Good work.
The front spoiler, side running boards and front fog-light surrounds are silver, and the rear spoiler is black. All in all, giving the sport versions a distinctive and appealing look, whilst giving the customer a lot more for the extra money.
Renault Trafic vans start from £18,245 excluding VAT, in a choice of panel or crew van. The crew van can carry up to six people plus any equipment. They also have passenger body styles, and a range of four turbo diesel engine options to choose from.
