Farizon SV Electric Van Upgraded, Adds New Core Trim Level
The Farizon SV has been given an important refresh in response to customer feedback with a series of ergonomic and technical upgrades aimed at improving driver comfort.
The Chinese manufacturer has also taken the moment to introduce a new base trim level, known as the Farizon SV Core, bringing the entry price point down significantly.
Though it has only been available in the UK for a year, the Farizon SV has already drummed up a lot of interest with its choice of three batteries sizes, multiple body types – ranging from L1/H1 to L3/H3 – and smart technological features.
It has also won awards, while it was a top finalist at the premier International Van of the Year 2026 ceremony.
Nevertheless, Farizon Auto UK – the UK-based commercial vehicle arm of Geely – says it has worked closely with its development team in China to introduce a series of updates dictated by feedback from customers.
As such, 2026 Farizon SV models – for no extra cost – will now get a six-way adjustable driver’s seat and reach/rake adjustment for the steering wheel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have been incorporated, while drivers can also use the touchscreen to schedule climate control to allow for cabin pre-conditioning.
Ergonomics have been improved with the addition of physical controls for air-conditioning, driver modes and energy recovery, rather than just relying on the touchscreen.
Security features have been upgraded with updates to the door locks and alarm/immobiliser. These changes were made in collaboration with security experts Thatcham, helping to lower the SV’s insurance grouping.
Entry-Level Farizon SV Core Introduced
While the updates come at no extra cost on existing models, the Farizon SV does get a lower starting price of £39,000 thanks to the introduction of a base level trim, which is offered with either 67kWh or 83kWh battery in L1/H1 size only.
SV Core grade gets the majority of the standard model’s generous kit levels, including heated seats, heated multifunction steering wheel, 360-degree surround view and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety features.
Upgrading to the standard model adds V2L technology, a payload monitoring system, heated windscreen and automatic windscreen wipers.
