Entry Level VW ID.Buzz Cargo Added To Retro Electric Van Range
Volkswagen has announced it is establishing a new entry point to its VW ID.Buzz Cargo range by adding a 59kWh variant to the retro-inspired van range.
The ID.Buzz Cargo – an electric commercial vehicle derived from the platform of the ID.Buzz people-mover – was initially launched with a single 79kWh option but a smaller size 59kWh battery is now available too.
On sale now, VW ID.Buzz Cargo 59kWh is targeted at those who prioritise charging speed over outright range. Using a rapid charger (165kW), a charge of 5% to 80% can be achieved in around 30mins, while still achieving an average 200 miles in terms of range.

Cargo volume remains unchanged with up to 3900-litres on offer in the load bay, enough to accommodate two Euro pallets when loaded widthways. With 168bhp on tap, the ID.Buzz Cargo 59kWh has a payload of 692kg and can tow up to 1000kg.
Available in Commerce trim only, features include LED headlights, three heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, Ready 1 Discover infotainment system, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless App-Connect (including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and multiple USB-C ports.
