Dacia Spring Cargo EV Brings City-Slicker Affordability to Vansdirect
The Dacia Spring Cargo, the UK’s most affordable new van has officially arrived at Vansdirect, boasting penny-pinching running costs and convenient urban practicality.
Based on the Dacia Spring electric city car – the UK’s cheapest new passenger vehicle - the two-seater Dacia Spring Cargo is aimed at businesses seeking an excellent value, easy-to-drive zero emissions commercial vehicle that will complete deliveries in a flash.
At 3.7m long and with a turning radius of just 4.8m, the Spring Cargo thrives in city-based locations by being a doddle to park, easy to load/unload and light-footed through traffic.

With the rear seats removed and a mesh bulkhead added, the Spring Cargo is transformed to offer 1085-litres of load space accessible from the rear doors or the tailgate. Payload capacity is a generous 370kg.
Under the skin, the Spring Cargo is offered with the choice of a 24kWh or 27kWh battery generating 70bhp or 64bhp respectively.
Up to 140-miles of range (WLTP combined) is possible, which should make the Spring Cargo up to the task of completing a day of urban-based work without trouble.
Fast charging from 20-80% is possible in 45-minutes.

Standard specification includes a 10-inch display with Media Nav Live and Smartphone mirroring, plus Bluetooth, a USB port, cruise control, air-conditioning, electric front windows, remote central locking, front/rear parking sensors and a reversing camera.
The Spring Cargo also has bi-directional Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Moreover, in addition to the already affordable outlay, the Dacia Spring Cargo car-derived van is eligible for the UK Plug In Van Grant (PiVG) of £2,500.
