Volkswagen Transporter T28 low roof TDI
Sharing the award with the Peugeot van is the iconic Volkswagen Transporter van. The 2.0-litre TDI engine of the VW Transporter delivers 250Nm of torque, which is more than sufficient to transport heavy loads whilst still offering excellent levels of performance this is aided by a gross weight of just 2,800kgs. This VW Transporter version may be compact, however with 5.8 cubic metres of load volume, it offers sufficient carrying capacity for most business users whilst the low roof means it has the urban advantage of being able to enter the majority of multi-storey car parks.
