Peugeot Bipper review
The Peugeot Bipper is one of three small vans that are practically one and the same - albeit with different branding - the other two being the Citroen Nemo and Fiat Fiorino.

A compact 'city van', the Bipper is ideal if compactness and agility are your deciding factors. Having said that, a usable loadspace of 2.5 cubic metres is still commendable for such a small van. You can extend this by folding the front passenger seat which makes loading longer items easier.
Most van manufacturers claim that their vehicles are bigger than they look on the outside, but this is most definitely true of the Bipper. Access to the Bipper's load area is simple; either use the asymmetric rear doors (which can open to 180 degrees) or the sliding side door. The Bipper can carry a payload of up to 660kg and has a maximum braked trailer weight of 600kg.Loading the Bipper is simple thanks to its low loading sill of 527mm.

Powered by a 1.3-litre 80ps turbo diesel engine, the Bipper offers a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes. The Bipper's hard-working engine delivers a maximum torque figure of 190Nm - more than enough to get past slow traffic on the motorway. Peugeot's official figures show a return of a minimum 60.1mpg with CO2 emissions of 115g/km which is what you'd expect from such a small van. It's good to drive with a firm ride and good levels of refinement.
In terms of features, entry-level 'S' models aren't particularly well-equipped - tie down hooks and a 12v socket are as good as it gets. Higher grade 'SE' models are more functional; central locking, reach & rake steering wheel and a sliding side door are included. Choose the top-spec Professional model and you'll get air conditioning, a half-height bulkhead and a Bluetooth handsfree kit. There are plenty of storage options in the Bipper's cabin including a dashboard tray and two drinks holders.
Peugeot offers a 3-year, 100,000 mile warranty with the Bipper while service intervals are set at 20,000 miles.
