Introduction
The Renault Kangoo is an excellent small van which has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of professionals, the Kangoo is renowned for excellent levels of practicality and economy whilst also making the very most of the space on offer. The Renault van is available in both Business and Business+ trim levels both offering excellent levels of standard equipment to keep you connected and comfortable on the road.
Inside the cab
We were lucky enough to get our hands on a Business+ spec model which meant some extra luxuries in the cabin of the Renault van. All models come as standard with a DAB radio with AUX input, CD player, Bluetooth and USB connectivity in addition to a surprisingly spacious and comfortable cabin. Electrically operated folding door mirrors and electric front windows with 'one-touch' descend add to a convenient feel inside the van, whilst a centre console with armrest adds to the levels of comfort.
The specially contoured seating offers a relaxed view of the road ahead and is height adjustable for your comfort and is paired well with the height/reach adjustable steering wheel, whilst all the instruments and controls are conveniently placed. Also with comfort in mind, air conditioning features as standard on Business+ models.
Load area
The load area of the Renault Kangoo Business+ is separated from the load area of the van by a full steel bulkhead, protecting both you and your cargo whilst on the road. 3.0 cubic metres of load volume is offered as standard, which is more than sufficient to swallow a Europallet with ease. The load area of the Renault van is all about practicality and accessibility, and can be accessed via the left-side loading door or the asymmetric rear doors which open to 180 degrees. This means that you can access the load area of the Kangoo parked up in the narrowest of streets and busy urban areas. The Renault van can accommodate a payload up to 650kg.
Exterior
The Renault Kangoo is an attractive small van which will portray a professional image for your business, whilst the exterior design allows for a perfect view of the road ahead. Business+ models add that extra bit of luxury to the exterior appearance with features including 15-inch BRIGANTIN wheels and front and rear body coloured bumpers alongside gloss black wing mirrors. You'll also find rear parking sensors in the rear bumper of the van.
How was the Renault Kangoo van to drive?
The crucial question perhaps, how does the Renault Kangoo drive? The passenger car MPV market was clearly a key consideration in the design of the Renault van and as such it offers excellent levels of ride comfort, soaking up potholes and bumps in the road with consummate ease. This makes the Kangoo an intelligent choice for those driving over rough city streets or pockmarked country lanes on a regular basis. The 75ps diesel engine offers surprisingly punch performance and in line with highly responsive steering makes the Kangoo incredibly nimble to navigate. This engine option is also highly refined and economical, offering fuel economies in excess of 60 miles to the gallon!
