Vansdirect On Track to Support Team VERTU for 2026 BTCC Title Defence
Vansdirect will once again have a presence in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) this season as a supporting partner of defending champions, Team VERTU.
Vansdirect has enjoyed strong visible representation as a key sponsor of EXCELR8 Motorsport for multiple years and has now backed both the team and driver Tom Ingram to two drivers’ titles, achieved in 2023 and 2025.
In the team’s first season with title backing from Vertu, the parent company of Vansdirect, the outfit achieved a remarkable nine victories and 32 podiums across the 30-race season last year – with Vansdirect there ‘every lap of the way’.
Better yet, as well as Ingram’s romp to the driver’s crown, Team VERTU also clinched the Manufacturers/Constructors’ title for the first time too in what would prove a dominant campaign.
The livery on the pair of Hyundai i30 N Fastbacks – which was revealed for the first time at a launch ceremony at BIRCH Gatwick - is an evolution of the hugely popular design that featured on the cars of Ingram and Chilton in 2025 with a combination of vibrant teal, orange and white alongside accents of blue.
Vansdirect branding will be visible on the cars driven by Ingram and Tom Chilton this year as the company prepares to get revved up for a sixth consecutive season of partnering with EXCELR8 Motorsport.
Team VERTU will comprise a total of four entries in 2026. For now only Ingram and Chilton are confirmed, with the remainder of the team’s driver line-up due to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The 2026 BTCC season will comprise 30 races over ten events, beginning on 18-19 April 2026.
