New 2026 Vans: Which Brand-New Vans Are Coming Soon?
The new year is finally here and that means a host of new vans and commercial vehicles are on the way to tempt you in 2026.
Boasting a host of advanced features, clever design traits and smart connected technology, 2026 could see the commercial vehicle segment enter a bold new era of business transportation.
Here is a rundown of which new vans we are set to see in 2026...

Mercedes-Benz Vito
Arguably the most eagerly anticipated new van launch of 2026 will be the all-new Mercedes-Benz Vito, which is set to be revealed during the first half of the year.
To date, Mercedes have done a mighty job of keeping the Vito under wraps, instead offering a drip-feed of imagery showing its passenger-carrying equivalent, the VLE.
Both the VLE and Vito have been developed in tandem on the same basic architecture, but specific platforms will underpin each powertrain – VAN.EA for electric and VAN.CA for combustion.
Importantly, the Vito has with electric power in mind and will be the only powertrain available upon launch. However, diesel versions built on the VAN.CA platform will debut later down the line.
Information about the Vito’s range potential is being kept under wraps for now, but Mercedes-Benz is known to be pushing for well in excess of 300-miles, which would make it a class-leader.

Renault Trafic E-Tech
Having proven it is possible to extract impressive range and retain a generous payload with a large electric van, Renault is now turning its attention to the medium van class and the new Renault Trafic E-Tech.
Another van that will be offered only in electric form – at least initially – it marks a major transformation for the one of the medium van class’s most popular models.
To that end, Renault have worked hard to maximise the Trafic E-Tech’s environmental credentials, developing it as an electric model from the ground up.
As such, it gets a short front overhang and a tighter turning circle, while it is all wrapped in a strikingly modern exterior cloak. Range is expected to set a new class standard of around 280-miles, while the Trafic E-Tech will boast 1250kg of payload and a 5.8 cubic metre load bay in L2 trim.

Flexis Panel Van
Unlike previous generations of Renault Trafic, there will not be a Nissan Primastar version on this occasion.
However, there will be a sister model to the Trafic under the brand-new name of Flexis.
Flexis is a fresh collaboration between the Renault Group, Volvo and logistics firm CMA CGM that will be launch a range of rebadged Renault models from 2026.

Kia PV7
Having tasted immediate success with the PV5, Kia will begin to expand its new commercial vehicle range in 2026 with the launch of the larger PV7.
Set to go head-to-head with the Ford E-Transit Custom, the PV7 has already been previewed as a concept car and is due to be unveiled in 2026 ahead of sales in 2027.
That won’t be the only vehicle to spin off from the firm’s PBV architecture, with a full-size PV9 to join the range in the coming years too.

Iveco eJolly & Iveco eSuperJolly
Italian heavy-good vehicle manufacturer Iveco will expand its light commercial range in 2026 with the launch of two brand-new models to sit below its heavy-duty large van, the Daily.
If the Iveco eJolly [pictured as main image] and Iveco eSuperJolly look familiar though, that’s no coincidence. The firm has entered into an agreement with Stellantis to develop the models off its medium and large van platform, which are ubiquitous in the segment as the Vauxhall Vivaro and Vauxhall Movano et al.
Notably, however, the eJolly and eSuperJolly will only be available with electric powertrain options.

BYD E-VALI
BYD has already made a big impression on the passenger car landscape in the UK and it may bid to do the same in the commercial vehicle market in 2026.
BYD came to existence developing batteries but quickly branched out into HGVs, vans and buses in its native China, where it swiftly gained a majority market share.
Its move into passenger cars has since seen it overtake Tesla as the world’s best-selling electric brand, but its expertise remains in commercial vehicles.
It currently sells the BYD E-VALI in selected European countries, which is around the size of a Ford Transit and comes with two variants boasting either 13.9 cubic metres of space or 17.9 cubic metres.

Farizon V7E
After making its UK debut in 2025 with the well-received SV, Farizon is being tipped to expand its presence on this side of the world with a new entry into the smaller end of the van market.
That model is rumoured to be the Farizon V7E, which was recently unveiled in its native Chian. Pitched somewhere between a small and medium van, it would cover a similar ground to that of another all-electric newcomer to the commercial vehicle market, the Kia PV5.

Skywell 233
It was due to come in 2025 but for now the arrival of the Skywell 233 remains TBA.
With the Ford Transit firmly in its sights, the electric Skywell 233 will be offered in two lengths and promises cutting-edge technology, a classy interior and a capacious cargo hold.

Renault 4 Van
Perhaps the funkiest new van that could be coming our way in 2026 is a van based around the new Renault 4 E-Tech.
The passenger model revives the Renault 4 nameplate and duly bears all the design hallmarks of its iconic spiritual predecessor but reimagines it with a thoroughly modern electric powertrain.
Moreover, since the original Renault 4 – a model which ran from 1961 to 1992 – was also offered as a Fourgonette van variant, the latest version is getting the same treatment.
Renault hasn’t confirmed whether the Renault 4 Van will come to the UK, if it does it will offer a 1045-litre cargo bay, plus 55-litres of underfloor storage, and a payload of up to 345kg.

Ford Transit
The surprise announcement that Ford will enter a strategic partnership with Renault on its commercial vehicles means there is an outside chance we could get to see a glimpse into the next generation Ford Transit.
The model is of crucial importance for the American firm in Europe, where its dominant commercial arm is propping up the fortunes of its flagging passenger vehicle business.
The largest Transit is next up for a replacement and while many had expected it to be paired with the Volkswagen Crafter for its next generation, this new deal could see it adopt the same underpinnings as the multi-award winning Renault Master instead.
