All-New Electric KGM Musso EV Primed for UK Debut

KGM has announced its all-new electric pick-up truck – the KGM Musso EV – will make its first appearance on UK soil ahead of its planned launch later in the year.
The model, which is already on sale in its native Korea, is set to become only the UK’s second electric four-wheel drive pick-up truck, following on from the new Maxus eTerron 9.
Though it shares its name with the KGM Musso pick-up truck already available in the UK, the EV version is based on the KGM Torres SUV.
Indeed, the KGM Musso EV draws design inspiration from that model as reflected in the striking new front-end which features the Korean marque’s latest signature front-end of slender headlights and a chunky grille.
More angular than the current KGM Musso, the EV gets utilitarian wheelarches and bumper mouldings, while the slanted window line and ‘floating’ roof keeps the look sharp to the rear.
For now, the full specifications for the KGM Musso EV are being kept under wraps, but the company says it will feature all-wheel drive capability, come with vehicle-to-load functionality and will be good for a range of 290-miles.
The KGM Musso EV is getting its UK debut at the SUPBIKERRUN’s event at the Lake District, an event series that combines paddleboarding, cycling and trail running.
It is hoped this unique opportunity for visitors to get up close with the Musso EV will help determine how the model will be placed in KGM’s range.
Indeed, it is unclear whether the new Musso EV will be offered alongside the current ICE-equipped model for the time being.
