KGM Musso Commercial Adds Tax-Friendly Pick-Up Option
KGM has bolstered its commercially oriented range of models with the launch of two-seat, tax-friendly variants of its KGM Musso Saracen and Rebel range.
The latest addition to a burgeoning line-up of new models that – within the past 12 months – have already included the KGM Musso EV, KGM Musso and the KGM Rexton Commercial, these new models are designed to swerve the change to Benefit-in-Kind tax rules.
Following a trend that has also seen the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max and Mitsubishi L200 adapt their respective pick-up trucks for businesses, the KGM Musso Saracen Commercial and KGM Musso Rebel Commercial are stripped back to two-seats, thus qualifying them for a 100% write-down allowance.

By removing the rearmost seats, the area is then converted into a storage area in addition to the flatbed. A full-height fixed mesh bulkhead, heavy-duty rubber cargo mat and rear window security mesh is then added to secure the space.
Under the bonnet, both models come with KGM’s venerable 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine generating just over 200bhp and 441Nm of torque, while the Korean firm’s cast-iron reputation for off-roading ability and towing capacity remains in evidence.
Payload is rated at up to 1,205kg, making the two models among the most capable workhorses in the pick-up truck category.
