Dacia Duster Pick-Up Arrives with the Cutest Little Flat Bed

Dacia has revealed its latest rendition of the Duster SUV, a quirky pick-up truck that is less about the size of its flat bed and more about ease of access.
Confirmed only for its native Romanian market for now, the Dacia Duster Pick-Up takes the standard SUV – the latest generation of which was launched in 2024 – and simply removes the rear-quarter behind the C-pillar to leave what would be the boot area exposed.
With the same overall dimensions as the regular Duster, the Pick-Up retains its rear passenger compartment to ensure seating for up to four people.
At the rear, the load bay measures just a metre long but can be easily accessed either over the top of the rear-quarter haunch or via a fold-down tailgate that also doubles as an extension of the flat bed.
Dacia says the Duster Pick-Up is aimed at tradespeople who need the simplicity of a commercial vehicle with the convenience of driving a passenger car.
Three trim levels – Expression, Extreme and Journey – are available, along with the choice of either a full hybrid or mild hybrid engine.
The Dacia Duster Pick-Up comes hot on the heels of the Dacia Duster Cargo, a light commercial vehicle conversion version of the popular SUV that by contrast will be made available in the UK.
The Duster Pick-Up isn’t Dacia’s first foray into the pick-up truck market. In fact, it already offered a pick-up truck based on the previous generation Duster – complete with a full-size flat bed – that proved popular in South America.
The Dacia Duster Oroch as it is known is set to receive an update based around the design of the latest model soon.
