The Fiesta van gets a flat floor with a tough rubber covering and tie-down hooks to secure your cargo, whilst payload peaks at 500kg.

Engines of the Ford Fiesta van

There’s a choice of four different engine outputs with the new Fiesta van, including the brand’s familiar 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine with 120ps and the award winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine. Fuel economies mirror the passenger car delivering fuel economies all the way up to 80mpg.

Trim levels of the Ford Fiesta van

The three-door panel van is available in two trim levels: Base and Sport, both of which come loaded with an impressive level of standard features. Base models get all of the following as standard: 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, body-coloured features such as rear spoiler, bumpers and liftgate handle, DAB radio, halogen reflector headlights with daytime running lights, height-adjustable driver’s seat and so much more.

Move up to top spec Sport trim and you’ll get exactly what it says on the tin, a number of sporty enhancements, including: 16-inch 12-spoke alloy wheels, body-coloured side skirts, sports=style rear spoiler, front and rear skirts and door handles, stainless steel sports foot pedals, sports-style seats, sports suspension, keyless start, thatcham alarm, 8-inch touchscreen with GPS and so much more!

Base models get front disc and rear drum brakes, whilst Sport models get discs all round. The larger tyres on Sport models enhance grip, this can also be boosted further by adding optional 18-inch wheels. Electronic stability control is standard on all models, as is traction control.

Ford vans also offer a host of optional driver assistance features, including parking sensors which are recommended with limited rear visibility. Other optional driver assistance features include: rear camera, park assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and lane assist.

Driving and performance of the Ford Fiesta van

The Fiesta van is undoubtedly the best-handling van on the market, essentially due to the fact that it is based on the best-selling passenger car, all of the car’s fantastic driving dynamics. Top Spec Sport models, get a lower suspension to enhance handling even further, with fast steering perfect for navigating around bust towns and cities.

Interior of the Ford Fiesta van

The Fiesta van is ahead of most other small vans available in terms of cab and interior, particularly when in Sport trim, the dash layout is identical to higher spec Fiesta hatchbacks, with clear dials and an uncomplicated layout boosted by a prominent eight-inch touchscreen display at the heart of the dash.
