Joint winners of the International Van of the Year 2019 prize, Vansdirect reveals everything you need to know about the new Citroen Berlingo, new Peugeot Partner and new Vauxhall Combo vans!
New small vans available at Vansdirect
Each new small van uses a platform which features EMP2 technology, meaning the new Citroen Berlingo and new Peugeot Partner vans have similar load volumes and payloads to the models which they have replaced, whilst the new Vauxhall Combo has ended its partnership with the Fiat Doblo Cargo following PSA's investment in Vauxhall vans.
Each of the new vans are available in two sizes: M and XL for the Berlingo, Standard and Long for the Partner and Short and Long for the Combo. Load volumes range from 3.3 cubic metres to 3.9 cubic metres on each of the new vans, which will all also be available as a crew van variant in 2020. All of the new models will be available with a choice of a 1.6-litre diesel engine with 75ps and 100ps outputs or a 1.5-litre diesel engine with an output of 130ps. 1.6-litre engines will be fitted with a five-speed manual transmission, whilst 1.5-litre models will get either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. A 1.2-litre petrol engine with 110ps or 130ps are set to join the ranges in the near future.
All models come with a variety of different trim levels, let's take a closer look at these!
