Loadspace is reduced on the crew van and passenger models, however the latter can double up as a panel van if you wish. Both rows of seats are removable on the passenger van. Standard panel van models have load lengths of 2537mm on L1 models and 2937mm on L2 models, whereas moving to Business+ models brings you a full steel bulkhead with load-through facility. The load through facility provides you with a leading load length in the medium vans market of 4150mm. In terms of loadspace volume, the Trafic offers an impressive 5.2 cubic metres on L1 models and 6 cubic metres on L2 models.
Renault Trafic economy
The Renault Trafic is powered by a 1.6 dci single turbo or twin turbo engine. The single turbo delivers outputs of 95ps and 120ps, whereas the twin turbo accompanied by Renault's ENERGY technology delivers outputs of 125ps and 145ps. Working in conjunction with Stop & Start technology to stop the engine when the van is idle, to reduce running costs. The single turbo engine delivers up to an impressive 43.5mpg, whereas the twin turbo delivers up to an even more impressive 47,9mpg! In terms of emissions, they range between 155-170 g/km depending on your engine output choice.
Renault Trafic features
Competitive in terms of dimensions and economy that it offers in comparison with other medium vans. The features are where this new medium van really stands out from the crowd. Available with three trim levels: Business, Business+ and Sport. The standard 'Business' model of the Renault van is a mobile office, with intelligent solutions. In the cabin you will find 54 litres of under-seat storage, while other features include: 80 litre fuel tank, electronic immobiliser, trip computer and full steel bulkhead. Moving to the more advanced Business+ trim brings you: holders for a smartphone and a tablet, a middle passenger seat that folds down to fashion a work surface suited for laptops or vital paperwork, manual air conditioning, a load-through facility with bulkhead and rear parking sensors.
The Renault Trafic Sport is the most complete version of this medium van. The Sport trim adds features including: front fog lights, Renault MediaNav touch screen multimedia and navigation system, cruise control and a premium dashboard.
