The Toyota Proace Max is a Large Van that shares its mechanicals with the Citroen Relay, FIAT Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Vauxhall Movano.
It is available across four body styles – L2/H2, L3/H2, L3/H3, L4/H3 – which represents a smaller range available than its sister models, which have six body styles on offer
In base L2 trim, the Proace Max measures 5413mm in total length with a load length of 3120mm, while the L3 rising to 5998mm in total length and 3705mm load length. The largest L4 goes up to 6363mm in total length, with a load length of 4070mm
In terms of height, the Proace Max is available in two configurations – H2 and H3. These measure 2524mm and 2764mm respectively.
The various configurations mean the Toyota Proace Max can be specified with many different total load sizes, starting with 11.5 cubic metres for the L2/H2, going right up to 17.0 cubic metres for the largest L4/H3.

The Toyota Proace Max’s payload capacity is dependent on which body style and powertrain is selected.
The base size – L2/H2 – is only available in diesel, while the largest – L4/H3 – can only be chosen in electric. All other body sizes can be specified in electric or diesel.
The L2/H2 offers the most generous payload capacity of up to 1475kg when mated to an automatic transmission, but all models are capable of at least 1365kg.
The Toyota Proace Max offers at least a 2400kg braked towing capacity in electric trim, with the diesel models capable of hauling 2500kg.
