The Renault Trafic is one of the most generous vans in its class, with the standard L1 measuring just over five metres at 5080mm. The longer L2 version stretches to 5480mm, comparing well against rivals like the Ford Transit Custom L2 and Citroen Dispatch XL.
The Crew Van is available exclusively in L2 form and comes with a three-wide bench seat for rear passengers, adding extra versatility for carrying both people and cargo.
Inside, the Trafic offers equally impressive space, with 5.8 cubic metres of load volume in the L1/H1 and up to 6.7 cubic metres in the larger L2/H1 model.
The Renault Trafic offers a clever 'trap door' option, where the front passenger seat folds down and a hatch in the bulkhead opens to extend load length to 4150mm. This makes it ideal for carrying longer items like timber or poles.
Unlike many rivals, the Trafic is also available with a taller H2 roof, offered on both L1 and L2 models. While H1 versions stand at 1971mm - low enough for most multi-storey car parks - the H2 raises height to 2495mm.
This added roof height significantly boosts cargo capacity, with up to 6.7 cubic metres in L1/H2 form and an impressive 8.9 cubic metres in the L2/H2.
