The FIAT Scudo comes in two lengths: 4981mm for the L1 and 5331mm for the L2. In L1 form, it's shorter than key rivals like the Ford Transit and Volkswagen Transporter, but matches sister models such as the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert, Toyota Proace, and Vauxhall Vivaro.
The L2 version stands out in the medium van class by extending length behind the rear wheels rather than increasing the wheelbase. This design provides a longer rear overhang, creating a wider and more practical loading aperture with less intrusion from the wheelarches near the rear doors.
The Scudo offers a wide rear loading aperture with minimal intrusion from the wheelarches. It comes with three front seats as standard, while the Crew Van (available in L1 or L2) adds a rear bench to seat up to six.
Load volume is 5.3 cu m (L1) or 6.1 cu m (L2), but a load-through bulkhead and foldable front seat extend floor length by 1.1m (L1) or 1.2m (L2), boosting capacity to 5.8 cu m and 6.6 cu m. Crew Van models provide 3.2 cu m (L1) or 4.0 cu m (L2) of cargo space.

The FIAT Scudo has a payload ranging between 1121kg to 1384kg when paired with one of either turbodiesel versions available (1.5-litre or 2.0-litre).
Opt for one of two battery-powertrain versions though (50kWh or 75kWh) and the electric E-Scudo manages between 915kg up to 1263kg.
The FIAT Scudo's towing capacity is dependent on the engine or powertrain you select.
In its most powerful 2.0-litre Multijet3 turbodiesel guise, the Scudo can tow braked up to 2500kg, while the 1.5-litre Multijet3 turbodiesel manages 2000kg.
Each electric E-Scudo in L1 or L2 guise is capable of towing up to 1000kg.
