At the end of a finance lease, you may, depending on the terms of your agreement, either continue to hire the vehicle for a secondary rental period at a reduced annual rental or arrange for the vehicle to be sold to an unconnected third party. If the sale proceeds are less than any outstanding balance under the agreement, you remain liable for the shortfall. The vehicle must be returned or made available for sale in good condition, subject to reasonable fair wear and tear for its age and mileage assessed against the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Standard. If the vehicle exceeds the total contracted mileage, an excess mileage charge will apply. Additional charges may apply if you terminate the contract early
