This category was open to all new vans under 2.5-tonnes GVW, the Volkswagen Caddy has scooped the award this year, fighting off competition from the Renault Kangoo ZE and 2017 winner the Vauxhall Combo.

Best Large Trades Van - Citroen Dispatch 1.6 Blue Hdi M 115ps Enterprise S/S
& Peugeot Expert 1.6 Blue Hdi 115ps Professional S/S
This category was open to all new vans with a GVW between 2.5 and 3.0-tonnes. This year we had joint winners in the form of the almost identical Citroen Dispatch and Peugeot Expert vans, fighting off competition from the Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro and last year's winner the Volkswagen Transporter.

This category was open to all new vans under 3.5-tonnes GVW, the Volkswagen Crafter has scooped the award this year, fighting off competition from last year's winner the Vauxhall Movano.

Best pick-up van - Volkswagen Amarok 3.0 V6 TDI 204ps Highline BMT Auto
This category was open to all pick-up vans single or double cab with a towing capacity of 3.5-tonnes or under, the Volkswagen Amarok has taken the award this year seeing off competition from the Mitsubishi L200 and Fiat Fullback to retain the title it won last year.

Best green van - Renault Kangoo ZE 33 Business
This category was open to all new vans under 3.5-tonnes GVW that reduce their environmental impact on the road. The Renault Kangoo ZE saw off competition from the Volkswagen Transporter BMT to retain the title it won last year.

Best crew van - Volkswagen Transporter Kombi T30 SWB 2.0 TDI 102ps Highline BMT
This category was open to all new crew, combi and double cab vans up to 3.5-tonne GVW. The Volkswagen Transporter Kombi retained the award which it also won last year.

Overall winner - Volkswagen Caddy 1.2 TSI C20 84ps Startline BMT
After all of the above winners were collated, the overall winner was named, with the Volkswagen Caddy taking the top prize. It is the second year running where Volkswagen vans have taken the top award and cements a phenomenal awards ceremony for Volkswagen vans.
