The Nissan Interstar and electric Nissan Interstar EV are Large Vans offered in a choice of three different length and height variations: L2/H2, L3/H2 and L3/H3.
The dimensions of the Nissan Interstar ensure it is one of the largest and most versatile models in the large van segment, boasting a maximum 14.8 cubic metres of cargo space in its largest guise.
In addition to the three different Panel Van options, the Interstar is offered as a Luton Van, Platform Cab, Chassis Cab, Chassis Double Cab, Dropside (Single/Double Cab) and Tipper (Single/Double Cab)
In entry-point L2 H2 body style, the Nissan Interstar is 5780mm in length, making it longer than models like the Ford Transit and Citroen Relay, but shorter than the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The L2 length is only available with an H2 height (1885mm) and offers 10.8 cubic metres of load volume.
The longer L3 measures 6410mm in total length with a 3855mm wheelbase. It is available with the choice of an H2 or H3 (2138mm) height. With the largest L3 H3 offering 14.8 cubic metres, the L3 H2 model offers 13.0 cubic metres of cargo space.

The Nissan Interstar's payload capacity is dictated by which body size and gross vehicle weight is chosen, as well as whether it is a diesel or electric powertrain.
The largest model in the range - the L3/H3 - can carry up to 1847kg in 4.0-tonne trim, or 1347kg with a 3.5-tonne GVW or 1147kg with a 3.3-tonne GVW.
he Nissan Interstar L2 H2 4.0-tonne is the trim with the most generous payload capacity at 1934kg.
In electric trim, the Nissan Interstar EV offers a payload capacity of between 1197kg and 1694kg depending on which length and GVW you choose.
The Nissan Interstar offers a generous towing capacity across the entire range, no matter the body style configuration or powertrain choice.
All turbodiesel models can achieve a 2500kg maximum braked towing capacity, with exception to the 4.0-tonne L3 H3 which is capped at 2000kg.
Using the electric powertrain, the Nissan Interstar EV has a maximum braked towing capacity of between 1500kg and 2000kg when mated with the larger 87kWh battery.
