Vansdirect sponsored Louis Foster to make British F4 Debut
Young Vansdirect sponsored driver, Louis Foster is set to make his British F4 debut this coming weekend, joining reigning champions Double R Racing, Vansdirect reveals all!

The Vansdirect sponsored racer has joined Double R Racing off the back of a stellar year in the Ginetta Junior Championship where he claimed an unmatched nine race wins and a further ten outright finishes on the podium. The Vansdirect sponsored racer also cruised to the title of best rookie with a record 20 class victories from just 26 starts.
British F4 represents a promotion for Louis for the 2019 season and in Double R Racing he has joined a team with a significant pedigree for success in the Championship, with the team earning their maiden title-winning success last season courtesy of driver Kiern Jewiss claiming six wins and a further twelve podium finishes.
As the start of the 2019 season looms ever closer, Double R Racing are looking to defend the crown as well as secure the Teams' title with Foster expected to be a vital cog in the wheel of both of those title challenges.
Foster spoke of his excitement ahead of the start of the British F4 campaign and joining the reigning champions:
"I'm delighted to announce I'll be joining Double R for the 2019 British F4 Championship. The team are proven winners and have all the capability of delivering a championship winning car. Seeing how successful they were last season in F4 and in F3, it fills me with a lot of confidence as I make my debut in single-seaters. Making the step from Ginettas to F4 is going to be a tricky one, but I'm confident in my abilities and with the expert guidance of the Double R team there's no reason we can't be fighting at the front this season."
Foster also spoke of his excitement in partnering with Vansdirect again for his step up to British F4:
"I'm thrilled to receive the backing of Vansdirect again. They were so supportive last year in my Ginetta campaign and played a huge part in what was such a successful campaign for us all. I'm hoping that their continued support this year will bring us the same success in F4. Obviously, it's a big step into single-seaters, but I'm lucky that the support of the Vansdirect team will give me plenty of confidence going into the season ahead."

Foster's British F4 campaign kicks off this weekend at Brands Hatch (6th-7th April), with returning Sebastian Alvarez and Reema Juffali the first female racing driver from Saudi Arabia heading up a strong looking Double R racing unit, with three races over the opening weekend.
The weekend's official tests begin this Friday, before qualifying takes place on Saturday morning at 10.30, followed by the first race of the season at 15.50. There's then two races on Sunday starting at 10.00 and 15.35 respectively.
Ahead of the first weekend of the season Foster commented:
"I'm really excited to be kicking the season off this weekend, it's been a long winter break and we are all raring to get going. Brands Hatch will be my first race weekend in British F4 and with Double R so I'm hoping to get up to speed as quickly as possible so we can get the year off to a strong start. The field is really competitive this year and the timing sheets have proven just how close it is. For me, this weekend is about staying out of trouble, getting as much experience under my belt as possible and hopefully score some decent points!"
