Vauxhall Vivaro - Built to work
The latest generation Vauxhall Vivaro launched two years ago, succeeding a van that saw almost a million models produced at Vauxhall's Luton plant.

Vauxhall Vivaro review
The Vauxhall Vivaro competes in a tough segment - the medium van market. With rivals including the Ford Transit Custom, Volkswagen Transporter, Mercedes Vito, not to mention the Citroen Dispatch and Peugeot Expert, the Vauxhall Vivaro needs to be at the top of its game. And it is.
Vauxhall offer the Vivaro in two lengths and two heights as well as doublecab, combi and platform cab options. Doublecab models provide a second row of seats behind the driver, combi models seat up to nine and can still be used as a panel van by removing the seats while platform cabs provide a foundation for a range of specialist conversions such as tippers and dropsides.
Standard features of the Vauxhall Vivaro include ESC with traction control, ECO mode, wide-angle blind spot mirror, multi-function trip computer, DAB radio with Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in, steering-wheel mounted controls, facia-mounted drinks holders and dual front passengers' bench seat.
Most of these features are self-explanatory but one. Vauxhall's ECO mode engages a more efficient engine map with reduced torque, less power and slower throttle response. The system also provides the driver with an indication of how economically they are driving along with a rating out of 100 after each journey.
Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive
Sportive the Vauxhall vans name for its top-end Vauxhall Vivaro models. As you'd expect, Sportive models come with a better level of equipment that base models. The additional features exclusive to Sportive models include body coloured bumpers, mouldings and housings, air conditioning, a load-through bulkhead, cruise control with speed limiter, selective door locking, rear parking sensors, front fog lights and metallic paint.
