The recovery in the new van market continued in July, with the registration of 17,309 new vans. This was an increase of 0.1%, and sees new van registrations at 204,514 for the rolling year.
However, it wasn’t good news for the rest of the motor industry. The registration of new cars was 20,069 in July which was a decrease of 4.4%, taking the figure to 236,629 for the rolling year.
Experts are forecasting a very slow recovery of all motor markets for this year, but are expecting 2011 to be a much better year for both new vans and new cars.
