Mercedes-Benz eVito Electric Van Review 2024

The award-winning Mercedes-Benz Vito is now available with a 100% electric powertrain. Enjoy the same versatile panel van, electrified.

Mercedes-Benz eVito driving range

Enjoy an impressive range of up to 162 miles (WLTP) with the Mercedes-Benz eVito panel van thanks to the large 60kWh battery.

It’s equipped with an 85kW electric motor with 116hp and torque of up to 360Nm. It also has a high-voltage battery with a 60kWh usable battery capacity.

Mercedes-Benz eVito performance, power and drive

Choose from three driver programmes and five recuperation levels to discover your most efficient drive. Recuperation uses the energy lost from braking or slowing down to charge the battery. The recuperation levels can be manually adjusted via the steering wheel gearshift paddles.

Based on your driving profile, you can also choose the top speed. As standard, the top speed is 51mph or 80km/h. However, this can be increased to 62mph (100km/h) or 75mph (120km/h).

It’s important to remember that higher speeds can decrease your electric range.

A range of safety features are standard including adaptive brake lights and front and rear tyre pressure loss warning. An Anti-Theft Protection Package also comes as standard. This provides extra peace of mind by sounding an alarm when a risk of theft is detected.

For extra protection, you can upgrade to the optional GUARD 360° vehicle protection.

You can also benefit from a range of driver assistance features as standard. ATTENTION ASSIST prevents you from falling asleep behind the wheel. It will alert you when signs of drowsiness are detected. Headlamp Assist automatically switches on your headlamps based on light conditions.

While Adaptive Brake Assist can help to prevent any potential collisions. If you upgrade to the Assistance Package, features include Blind Spot Assist, High Beam Assist Plus, and Traffic Sign Assist.

Mercedes-Benz eVito running cost and value

Enjoy lower running costs with a Mercedes-Benz eVito van. Not only are you saving money on fuel, but also road tax. All electric vans are currently exempt from road tax.

Electric vans are also exempt from charges in Low Emission Zones (LEZ) and Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ). This is particularly beneficial if you drive in bigger cities daily.

You can expect cheaper servicing and maintenance costs as electric vans have fewer moving parts than traditional petrol or diesel vans.

As standard, the eVito is covered by a free battery capacity warranty. This provides up to eight years or 100,000 miles of coverage in the event of material defects. You will also receive a three-year unlimited mileage warranty.

Mercedes-Benz eVito charging

With the eVito, you can enjoy fast charging times with a rapid DC charger. Power the battery from 0-80% in just 35 minutes. In terms of charging the battery from 0-100% - you can expect a full battery in around 6 hours and 30 minutes using an 11kW charger.
