According to What Van? Iveco are reviewing the designs of their popular Daily range in an effort to cut its unladen weight. According to Marketing Product Director, Giuliano Giovanni, Iveco believe that they will have a van in 2009 "50kg to 100kg lighter than the current model". Weight will be cut through the use of different materials and optional extras. For example, the new Iveco Daily will utilise composite springs and a tyre inflator rather than the traditional spare wheel. Watch this space for more details.
