The Citroen Berlingo Crew Van was named as one of the light commercial vehicles (LCV) of the year by the Institute of Transport Management. According to Vansunited, "ITM named the Berlingo Crew Van as the winner after being impressed with its ultra-flexible passenger and load capacity combination. The sliding and folding rear seats mean it can be used as either a two-seater (with 1,805mm long, 3.35cu.m load compartment) or five-seater (1,320mm long, 2.4cu.m capacity load compartment) depending on load requirements."
Moreover, the ITM was also impressed with the Citroen Berlingo's low CO2 emissions. Citroen's inclusion of a Trafficmaster Smartnav with stolen vehicle tracking system as standard reportedly also impressed the panel of judges.
Vansunited continued, noting that the Citroen Berlingo Crew "van is regarded as excellent value for money and competitively priced and UK-registered business can fully reclaim the VAT."
