PARKER’S SUMMARY
The Nemo marks Citroën's entry - and joint creation - of a new sector in the van market. The compact high-cube van sector was launched here, along with the Peugeot Bipper from Citroën's sister company, and the Fiat Fiorino. All three were developed alongside each other and are built at the same Fiat plant. The Nemo offers compact exterior dimensions and maximised interior space and a decent payload, along with efficient engines, particularly the diesel. It is easy to drive, but can accommodate a Euro pallet between the wheel-arches (with a couple of centimetres to spare each side), and the interior can be specified with some clever features. Not entirely comfortable on the motorway, with quite high revs per minute at 70mph, but for urban multi-drop work, it could be the ideal vehicle..
COST TO RUN
The Nemo should cost very little to run. Citroën also offers an 'approved' LPG conversion for the petrol model, which could prove cost effective for high mileage drivers. The technology used in the Nemo is well proven in other Citroën car and van products, as well as those of sister company Peugeot. We don't expect any major problems. Parker's Overall Review of 4.5 Stars.
