Navara adds grunt

Van manufacturer Nissan have been busy revamping the Nissan Navara pickup range.  The new flagship Nissan Navara, set to go on sale on June, will now be powered by an enormous 3.0 litre V6 producing more than 230hp.  According to information released so far, the new Nissan Navara will give peak torque of 550Nm across a 1,700rpm-to-2,500rpm, while a useful 500Nm is available from 1,500rpm.  The new Nissa

Used Van Shortage

The BCA  (British Car Auctions) are reporting a huge shortage of used vans. This is pushing up the price of used vans to record highs, which means that purchasing or leasing a new van is becoming even more of a preferred option for many smart businesses.

Vauxhall Updgrade the Vivaro & Movano SatNav Option

Vauxhall have brought forward an upgrade to the Satellite Navigation system that is an option on the Vivaro & Movano models at no additional cost.

This new Sat Nav system features clear, enhanced graphics and shows full range of routing information in either day or night modes, including distance, current speed limit, RDS EON route delay information, and estimated arrival time. Maps cover western European countries and the system is easy to operate and can be updated over the internet.

No doubt, there are many of you now tightening your belts and looking at ways to save money by using less fuel in your van.  Not only saving money, you can also claim to be GOING GREEN !

The environment is now a very important consideration for all of us as individuals, for companies and for Government policies.  It's worth noting that if your van is part of your daily business then fuel can represent up to 30% of your operational costs.  Every litre of diesel burned emits 2.68g of CO2 into the atmosphere, contributing to global warming.
